Thanks for putting it in.
That same cousin, whom I can't find now, had a copy of Grandpa Riddle's journal, written when he was married to his first Byrd family, and had planned to try to read it and put it into type. I can only assume that Malcolm Redding died, because when I called they didn't have that phone number anymore and when I wrote the letter came back.
She said at the time that it was hard to read.
