1. 22-05-2008 03:20 River Looks really good! We went last week and caught 80 Shell Cracker and Bluegill. No monsters but most were handsize. All of the shell cracker were full of roe. We put in at Quintet Landing. I Drove by there today and it looks pretty good, the river looked a little stained but it is at 5.25 ft and that is about what it was when we went last week. The rest of the report is that it takes a while to clean 80 brim, but they tasted great! 2. 08-05-2008 08:20 Escambia River Mineral Springs River is still too High now. Shell cracker and bream were scattered to lousy. Water level is about 7 ft. River needs to drop off about 2 more feet. Still, it was fairly clear. The water temp was a little on the cold side. Conversations with other people at the landing confirmed everyone catching about the same amount. Just a few. 3. 01-03-2008 23:33 Escambia River Mineral Springs Too much water in Escambia for Bream fishing unless you fish at the mouth. The river is at 13 Feet now with more rain on the way. So forget about it. Bah humbug! Only registered users can write comments. Powered by AkoComment Tweaked Special Edition v.1.4.6 |
