 Lelia and Scott Dodson survived a terrible accident yesterday. They are stiff and sore but unscathed other than bumps and bruises. The accident was caused by an alleged drunk driver (18 I think). He sideswiped them and flipped his car making their car flip over on it's side.
It was raining cats and dogs on Back Beach Rd at the Beach. The other driver righted his car and took off. Fortunately his car only made it a short distance before quitting. He is in jail. Funny how you can be cruising along and BAM! The good news is they were not injured. Can you believe they came out of this without a scratch? Talk about a miracle. Lelia said "We feel totally blessed."
The tow truck driver told Scott when he drove up he assumed the occupants of their car were gone to the hospital from the looks of the car. He couldn’t believe it when Lelia was standing beside it asking if they could get their things out of the trunk.
